Henry County Help Center
In the spring of 1970, Joe Durbin didn’t know what his life would hold. After attending Seneca High School for almost four years, the siren song of the Navy called him to duty. But after the Navy and a career as a farrier and equine dentist he opened the Henry County Help Center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established to help residents in need of food, toiletries, personal hygiene products, educational and moral support. The organization is made up of individuals, businesses and churches that volunteer to make the program possible.
Recently, the Redhawk Rangers visited the Henry County Help Center to reorganize their food pantry. If you want to read more about the 2015 Dare to Care Food Bank Agency of the Year, check out their website! Check out photos from our visit.
